Calls and emails are brisk today as we approach the end of open enrollment season for 2016 health insurance. Some of the email questions scare me, like this one that does not relate to a minimum essential coverage but the email format offers little opportunity for additional engagement:
Q: Does the platinum plan covers specialist like neurologist?
A: The Core Health Platinum plan has a doctor’s office visit benefit of $100. It does not matter what type of doctor. Please download the schedule of benefits available from the same screen that offers the price quote so that you have a complete listing of the benefits and coverage limits. See www.corehealthinsurance.net for more information. Just a reminder, Core Health Insurance is not a substitute for Obamacare.
