A South Carolina legislator wants to go a step beyond trying to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. He wants to make any implementation a felony criminal offense punishable by a fine and imprisonment. The bill says that PPACA is unconstitutional because of the provision requiring some individuals to buy health insurance. H.R. 3101, the South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act bill, would “render and void certain unconstitutional laws enacted by the Congress of the United States”.
